About the Kent Diving Website

Kent Diving’s Website is the online trading division of Kent Diving Services Ltd, a specialist supplier of Scuba Diving Equipment established since 2018. The site offers competitive prices for ordering online.

Alan and Mike previously worked for Kent Diving Ltd for more than 35 years between them. In 1987 Kent Diving established it's own Servicing and Maintenance capacity in house and extended its customer base. In 1996 we started offering PADI training, which is now carried out in partnership with local independent instructors. Growth continued throughout the 1990's and by the end of the 20th century the company was established as one of the leading suppliers and service centres for Scuba Diving Equipment in the UK. In 2018 following the retirement of the original owners Alan and Mike moved the business to Gravesend

The company currently supplies a wide variety of individuals and training establishments throughout the UK and worldwide with equipment from all leading manufacturers.

We are a long established company who has been supplying our customers by mail order for many years prior to the Internet’s inception. We have a proven track record of prompt and reliable delivery worldwide.

We have endeavoured to make the site as user friendly as possible with easy access to product descriptions and simplified online ordering. We will be continuing to expand the products available on our website.

In line with our company’s policy of continual improvement we would welcome any suggestions you may like to make and trust our relationship will be a long and beneficial one.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart (remember to choose your options where applicable) and add any relevant additions or accessories. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta . Special orders (i.e. made to measure suits) may be charged with order.

When placing an order, the address given must be the same as that registered with your credit or debit card company (together with a second ‘delivery’ address if necessary). To process your order more efficiently, we also request a daytime telephone number to contact you if necessary.

If you require advice regarding the selection of your correct size, please refer to the charts we have provided online or email us on [email protected] and we will be happy to advise you. Sizes vary between different manufacturers and styles but they always refer to body measurements not garment measurements.

We welcome orders from training establishments for equipment and training materials, please call to discuss your requirements.

A V.A.T. invoice is supplied with each order.

Shipping and Handling

We offer a range of delivery alternatives to UK mainland on all products

Carriage for other areas or for premium shipping methods is shown on the shopping cart & is calculated by weight

We use a variety of shipping methods and high quality packaging. Goods are insured during transit. We make every effort to keep postage & packing costs at a minimum for our customers.

If products arrive with the packaging showing signs of damage, please open the package in front of the delivery driver and either sign for the delivery stating the nature of the damage or refuse the delivery. Please inform us as soon as possible by email or telephone of the nature of any damage and we will arrange for all or part of your delivery (as appropriate) to be sent to you as soon as possible.

Delivery Schedule

All stock orders will normally be dispatched within one to two working day.

Some of our deliveries require a signature. Please ensure that you give us a delivery address where there will be someone able to sign for the delivery during normal delivery hours (8am to 6pm) Monday to Friday.

Small orders will be sent by Royal Mail 24 or Special Delivery (usually delivered next working day after dispatch but please allow up to four working days for delivery).

All other orders are dispatched by selected carrier and should be delivered within 24 to 48 hours after dispatch (but please allow 3-4 working days).

Kent Diving reserves the right to amend the delivery method if deemed more appropriate but will not downgrade to a slower method
Back Orders

We carry stocks of the most popular items, however despite our best efforts we are sometimes let down by our suppliers, which is outside of our control. When we do not have an item in stock we will back order it for you. We will e-mail or telephone you to advise you of this and the expected delivery date or we will offer you an alternative if one exists.

Back orders can be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch (except special orders). Most goods are generally available within 48 hours but please allow up to five days. Goods ordered in error will be liable to a carriage charge and may be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Tax Charges

All prices include UK V.A.T at the current rate (except certain zero rated items) for all orders being sent to the UK or EU. Our VAT number is GB 289462452. Goods being sent outside the EU will be sent VAT free.

We guarantee all new products we sell for 12 months from date of purchase. If you have a complaint it will be acknowledged within five working days during which time every endeavour will be made to rectify the problem. We will also keep you informed of what is happening.

Faulty goods will be exchanged, repaired or a credit note given. Any terms, conditions or warranties described here are in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

At Kent Diving we sell Scuba Diving Equipment at great prices without compromising on quality and we are dedicated to your total satisfaction.

Kent Diving does not sell products for purchase by children. However it does sell children’s products for purchase by adults. Children may browse the site content but a credit or debit card is required to purchase. Kent Diving relies upon the integrity of its customers and the details that you enter. If you register and / or purchase you confirm that the information that you provide is correct. Also in the case of products advertised with an age restriction you confirm that you are of the required age to purchase.

Returns Policy

To organize a Product Return call 01474 247720 (Mon-Fri 9.00 to 17.00).

You will be issued with a Returns Number. This will enable us to track your return and deal with it efficiently. We do not accept returns that have not been authorized.

All returns must be in a new unused condition and with the original packaging intact.

Goods must be returned carriage paid. We strongly recommend that you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

Remittance Terms

No contract will exist between Kent Diving and the customer for the sale of any item or product until and unless Kent Diving confirms that it has dispatched the order.
